The Vermilion Sailors will head out on the road to face off against the Bellevue Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vermilion is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Vermilion was the victim of a rough 34-14 loss at the hands of Edison. While losing is never fun, Vermilion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 468th, while Edison is ranked 107th).
Although Vermilion took the loss, they still got scores from Keegan Frey and Cohen Mooney.
Bellevue can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Port Clinton with points to spare, taking the game 30-14.
Bellevue's victory bumped their season record to 4-5 while Vermilion's defeat dropped theirs to 3-6.
