Seminole Ridge hasn't had much luck against Dwyer recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Seminole Ridge's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Dwyer's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Seminole Ridge will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Wellington, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Hawks walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Wolverines on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Dylan Peek tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off nine hits. Seminole Ridge is 4-1 when Peek allows one or fewer earned runs, but 8-9 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Michael Donals, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Turner, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Seminole Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dwyer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Centennial 10-9 on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Dwyer got a massive performance out of Rocco Bianco, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Shane Rosenberg, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
Dwyer's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Seminole Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
Seminole Ridge beat Dwyer 5-1 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
