If South Lafourche were riding high off their 35-7 takedown of Morgan City last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. South Lafourche took a 19-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of E.D. White. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Lafourche of the 12-28 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
The defeat dropped South Lafourche's record to 2-6. The win makes it two in a row for E.D. White and bumps their record up to 5-3.
The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. South Lafourche will take on South Terrebonne at home at 7:00 PM next week. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest. As for E.D. White, they will face off against A.J. Ellender. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
