The Booker T. Washington Warriors pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-58 to Hillcrest. Booker T. Washington lost against Hillcrest in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-50 score last time.
Jordan Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hillcrest, scoring 35 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Allen has scored at least 25% of Hillcrest's points. Another player making a difference was Mario Jones, who scored 7 points.
Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hillcrest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will take on Melrose at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Melrose focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. Hillcrest's road trip will continue as they head out to face Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
