Englewood never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past the Bennett Tigers to the tune of 44-0. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 35 points or more this season.
Englewood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Mael, who rushed for 88 yards and two scores. Mael didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 1.5 sacks, forced one fumble, and made three total tackles. Nathan Owens was in the mix too, providing Englewood with three TDs.
