After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Texas T, Amarillo HomeSchool F was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Sharp Academy Sabers as the Amarillo HomeSchool F Flames made off with a 55-29 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Flames have posted since November 15, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Sharp Academy lost, don't look at Timothy Rodriguez. Despite the final result, he dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 24 boards, and 11 steals. Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Michael Boyles, who posted 11 points along with six boards and three steals.

The win snapped Amarillo HomeSchool F's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record. As for Sharp Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Amarillo HomeSchool F does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sharp Academy, they will host Accelerate Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
