Calvary Christian Academy won the last time they faced the Faith Baptist School Falcons, and things went their way on Thursday too. Calvary Christian Academy came out on top against Faith Baptist School by a score of 34-27.
Leading Calvary Christian Academy to victory were Sadie Fournier and Diaya Armantrading. Fournier scored ten points along with three steals and two blocks, while Armantrading scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Armantrading hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Malinky (HS), who scored five points along with five steals.
The win got Calvary Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Faith Baptist School, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Calvary Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tri-State Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Tri-State Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 184th in Maryland, while Calvary Christian Academy is ranked 40th in Delaware). As for Faith Baptist School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenwood Mennonite at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
