Reed Relosky of Canevin Catholic ran for the longest rushing play in WPIAL A Black Hills this season against Serra Catholic last week. Relosky's team topped the Eagles as he sprinted for 89 yards on the play and finished with 89 in all.
Tyler Reddy and Matt Decello provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Serra Catholic. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 76 yards.
Canevin Catholic's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Reddy threw for 76 and one touchdown and Decello had 76 yards receiving. On the ground Reddy chipped in 199 yards. Reddy helped Canevin Catholic's passing attack out by catching one ball for 40 yards.
Imani Christian Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Saints feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Khari Hicks has thrown for 1786 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Brendan Edwards has 34 catches for 628 yards. Ron Brown leads the league in rushing with 1017 yards.
Clairton extended the longest winning streak in WPIAL A Black Hills this week by beating Imani Christian Academy, 52-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Bears.
