At the plate, Madison Stacy was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Taylan Hoskins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Perry County Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Johnson Central, their loss dropped their record down to 19-12.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Johnson Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .453. However, it's not like Perry County Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
