Flambeau will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Cornell/Lake Holcombe at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Flambeau had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Tri-County last Thursday as they made off with a 42-12 win. Flambeau was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Cornell/Lake Holcombe had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 32-20 victory over Ladysmith.
