Lynn put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Marion County Red Raiders with a sharp 17-1 win. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ashton Hopkins was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hopkins was even better at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Lynn got a massive performance out of Austin Dodd, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Scott, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
