The Cornerstone Christian Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 98-48 victory over Contra Costa Christian. Cornerstone Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Shudhit Sooch was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haikeem Shaw, who scored 11 points.
The victory (which was Cornerstone Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.3 points per game. As for Contra Costa Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Cornerstone Christian and California Crosspoint will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Contra Costa Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against California School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th.
