The Mater Academy Charter Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Archbishop Carroll as Mater Academy Charter made off with a  72-52 win. The  win was familiar territory for Mater Academy Charter who now have three in a row.
 Mater Academy Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ethan Davis, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and ten  assists. Davis is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight.  Sebastian Tello was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals.
 Mater Academy Charter is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Archbishop Carroll, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Mater Academy Charter has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome the Patriots at 7:00  p.m.  on February 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Florida (American Heritage is ranked 301st, while the Lions are ranked 309th). As for Archbishop Carroll, they will head out on the road to  square off against  the Patriots at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
