While Altha didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Wakulla Christian School Saints 70-38. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

Altha's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Wakulla Christian School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altha won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Liberty County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Altha likes a good challenge. As for Wakulla Christian School, they and Blountstown will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Blountstown will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wakulla Christian School surely won't give up without a fight.
