Walker was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against East Ascension on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Spartans 13-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-8 back in March.

Walker's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for East Ascension, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walker will host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Ascension, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Riverside Academy at 5:00 p.m.
