Middleburg is a perfect 5-0 against Orange Park since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Middleburg Broncos will head out to square off against the Orange Park Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Middleburg's defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so Orange Park's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Tuesday, Middleburg and Fleming Island were almost perfectly matched up, but Middleburg suffered a 14-13 loss. The Broncos have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Orange Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 19-12 to Yulee. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Hornets are ranked 83rd).

Orange Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Middleburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Middleburg didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Orange Park when the teams last played back in April of 2024, but they still walked away with a 19-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middleburg since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
