Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ida B. Wells). They walked away with an 85-78 victory over the South Salem Saxons on Saturday.

Ida B. Wells has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for South Salem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Ida B. Wells will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Century at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Century's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for South Salem, they will be playing at home against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
