The Charleston Math & Science Riptide lost against the Burke Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Charleston Math & Science was beaten by Burke 59-22.
Despite the loss, Charleston Math & Science still got an impressive performance from Peyton Webb, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cynay Taylor, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Charleston Math & Science has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for Burke, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.
Charleston Math & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Burke also has no future games currently scheduled.
