GEO Next Generation suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Elwood 59-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points GEO Next Generation has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even though California School for the Deaf-Riverside scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, Indiana School for the Deaf still came out on top. Indiana School for the Deaf took their contest against California School for the Deaf-Riverside 65-58. Given Indiana School for the Deaf's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 296th in Indiana, while California School for the Deaf-Riverside is ranked 1167th in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Indiana School for the Deaf relied on the efforts of Dylan Puent, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds, and Jayden DeFalco, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points DeFalco has scored all season. Jamiroquai Pickney was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds.
GEO Next Generation now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
