Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Charlie Potter, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, and Erin Maynes who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Maynes pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Kenston Forest's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenston Forest will challenge Brunswick Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Tidewater Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 5th. Tidewater Academy's defense has only allowed 25.8 points per game this season, so Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's offense will have their work cut out for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot.
