Last Saturday, Ross County Christian Academy blew past Hillsboro Christian Academy, posting a 50-23 victory on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ross County Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Dominion Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Spring Valley Academy as Dominion Academy made off with a 51-28 win.
Dominion Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Logan Gebhart, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, and Cecilia Canida, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tessa Merkel, who scored 10 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Their wins bumped Ross County Christian Academy to 2-0 and Hillsboro Christian Academy to 3-2.
Ross County Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Dominion Academy when the teams last played back in February and fell 47-45.
