The Dallas Christian Chargers waltzed into their match on Thursday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Covenant 59-7 at home. Dallas Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Josie Schlegel was nothing short of spectacular: she scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Murr, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Dallas Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Covenant, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Brook Hill the next time they take the court. Dallas Christian will host the Guard at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
