The King City Wildkats will head out on the road to challenge the North Platte Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. King City has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12.
Last Tuesday, King City came up short against the Cardinals and fell 61-53.
Meanwhile, North Platte unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Plattsburg on the road and fell 81-50.
King City has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 14 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for North Platte, they dropped their record down to 15-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
King City came up short against the Panthers when the teams last played back in November of 2020, falling 50-45. Can King City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
