Austin Carlisle Goes Supernova in Ridge Point Win
Starting off the list is Ridge Point's Austin Carlisle, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carlisle threw for 125 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 69 yards.
Fort Bend Dulles's probably not too fond of Carlisle given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Carlisle saw the Vikings), he threw for 239 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes.

While Thursday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Tyson Craft. He was unstoppable on Thursday, rushing for 132 yards and two touchdowns.
Fort Bend Elkins now has a winning record of 4-3. They and Fort Bend Dulles are set to duel on Friday.

While Will Herrmann delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Fort Bend Austin. Herrmann was unstoppable, forcing two fumbles and making nine total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Fort Bend Austin now has a losing record at 3-4. Herrmann and Fort Bend Austin will venture away from home to take on Fort Bend Hightower on Thursday.
