Even though the Nova Titans scored an imposing 59 points on Saturday, the Southridge Spartans still came out on top. Southridge managed a  63-59 win over Nova. With that  victory, Southridge brought their scoring average up to 52  points per game.
 Southridge got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Shanaii Gamble out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 12  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Naya  Hardisson, who  scored 14 points along with 4  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, Nova saw an underclassman step up:  Jaelynn Housey  scored 27 points along with 6  rebounds and 3  steals.  J'Yan Tyrell was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and 10  rebounds.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Southridge and  bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Nova, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southridge will take on Mater Academy Charter at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Nova, they will be playing at home against Coral Springs Charter at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
