Alpha Omega Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles 61-6 on Thursday. The Lions' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Alpha Omega Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on BVCHEA HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
