Lake Region had a rough outing against Yarmouth last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Lake Region put a hurting on Sacopee Valley to the tune of 68-6. Lake Region were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Lake Region's record up to 2-5. The defeat dropped Sacopee Valley's record to 1-6.
Next week Lake Region take on Fryeburg at 1:30 PM. Fryeburg are cruising in on a six-game winning streak. Sacopee Valley will take on Freeport at home at 7:00 PM.
