Hall has gone 9-1 against Riverdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Red Devils will welcome the Rams at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Riverdale will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Hall extended their winning streak to six on Thursday. The Red Devils' pitcher stepped up to hand Princeton a 10-0 shutout.
Luke Bryant made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Geno Ferrari, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Plym, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Hall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princeton only posted a batting average of .062.
Meanwhile, Riverdale made easy work of Mercer County on Thursday and carried off a 15-5 win. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly ten runs.
Like Hall, Riverdale also got a great game from a two-way player: Gaege Heinsen. Throwing, Heinsen struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Tyler Nadolson pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Heinsen went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI, while Nadolson went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Nadolson also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Riverdale let Jackson Fritch and Austin Duke run wild. Fritch got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI, while Duke got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. Carter Orr was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.
Hall's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Riverdale, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hall has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Riverdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hall was able to grind out a solid victory over Riverdale when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 8-5. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
