Northgate had already won 18 in a row and they went ahead and made it 19 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Del Oro Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Leading Northgate to victory were Austin Chan and Zeon Hubp. Chan had nine digs, while Hubp had three digs and two aces. Hubp is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played.

Northgate's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Del Oro, they moved to 14-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Northgate and Del Oro will both be playing Granite Bay the next time they take the court. Northgate will head out to face Granite Bay at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Del Oro will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
