Lancaster will be up against a hot Quartz Hill team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Royals' way against Immanuel Christian on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-5 victory. Considering the Royals have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brookelynn Sandberg-Zygo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Kayla Sparks looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Kynalea Cacal and Katrina Ramirez did most of the damage at the plate: Cacal went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Ramirez went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI Ramirez has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Leanna Medina, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
Quartz Hill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Lancaster won against Eastside on Thursday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against Knight by a score of 16-13. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Quartz Hill's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Lancaster, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Quartz Hill got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Lancaster by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
