Hanford had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Thursday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it eight. They were beaten by the Hermiston Bulldogs 47-7. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
As for Hermiston,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-5 Sageview and 1-5 Hanford.
 Hermiston found their leader in sophomore  Brayden Medelez, who rushed for 58 yards and three  touchdowns, and also threw for 163 yards and one  TD on only 14 passes. Medelez has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. A healthy portion of  Medelez's aerial production (80 yards to be exact)  went to  Tanner Wicks.
