Volleyball Recap: Warrenton Has No Trouble Against Fulton

Warrenton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fulton Hornets. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Warrenton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fulton between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Fulton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bre Knighten, who had 15 digs and 14 kills, and Estella Vanschenkhof, who had nine digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Alison Skinner, who had 14 digs.

Warrenton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-15 record this season. As for Fulton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Warrenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Winfield on the 7th. As for Fulton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Marshall on the 7th.
