Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Bassett). Their defense stepped up to hand the Workman Lobos  an   18-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Olympians, who have now won four matches by three  goals or more  so far this season.
Bassett has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 37  goals over those eight  games. As for Workman,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-13-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bassett will face off against La Puente at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Workman, they will take on Pomona at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
