Windsor is 7-0 against Centaurus since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Windsor Wizards will head out on the road to challenge the Centaurus Warriors at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Windsor has four straight wins, Centaurus has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Windsor can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Silver Creek 58-35. Given Windsor's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Silver Creek is ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Reyleigh Hess, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Paityn` Deselms was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Centaurus took a serious blow against Mead on Wednesday, falling 66-27. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Centaurus in their matchups with Mead: they've now lost five in a row.
Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Centaurus, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Everything came up roses for Windsor against Centaurus in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 71-17 win. With Windsor ahead 48-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
