Basketball Recap: Ossining Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Ossining had won two straight home games and Claire Schnecker did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Pride put the hurt on the Fox Lane Foxes with a sharp 57-34 victory with plenty of help from Schnecker, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 12 boards. The matchup was her third in a row with at least 26 points.

Another player making a difference was Ty'Asia Carver, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. She also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Ossining is undefeated when she posts at least three steals, but 1-2 otherwise.

Ossining's win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Ossining will challenge Mahopac at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Fox Lane will be paying especially close attention to the Pride's game: after the Pride face off against Albertus Magnus, they'll take on Fox Lane again at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
