Volleyball Recap: Academy of Richmond County Extends Winning Streak to Four

Academy of Richmond County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Harlem Bulldogs. The Musketeers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Academy of Richmond County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16.

Leading Academy of Richmond County to victory were Berkeley Jones and Harper Beckham. Jones had five digs and three aces, while Beckham had 19 assists. Beckham is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

Academy of Richmond County's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Harlem, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Academy of Richmond County has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Lakeside on the 26th. As for Harlem, they will venture away from home to face off against Augusta Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
