The Treutlen Vikings's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-34 victory over Jeff Davis. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Treutlen also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Treutlen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was ShaCaria Jackson out in front who scored 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least a third of Treutlen's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaleria Miller, who scored 14 points.
Treutlen's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Jeff Davis, their loss was their 19th straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-15.
Treutlen will head out on the road to face off against Hawkinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Hawkinsville is ranked 324th, while Treutlen is ranked 337th). As for Jeff Davis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumter County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sumter County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
