Prescott is 0-3 against Paradise Valley since December of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Prescott Badgers will challenge the Paradise Valley Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Prescott is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season.
Last Monday, Prescott blew past St. Mary's, posting a 70-34 win. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.

Prescott's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Addie Prisciandaro, who went 12 of 23 on her way to 32 points, and Bella Abt, who went 9 for 21 on her way to 21 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. With that strong performance, Abt is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayne Libis, who posted two points and eight rebounds.
Prescott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Paradise Valley entered their tilt with Desert Edge two weeks ago with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They snuck past the Scorpions with a 46-42 victory.
Paradise Valley's win came from a few key players Prescott will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Antonae Meeker, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 14 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Johnson, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 14 points.
Prescott pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Paradise Valley, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Prescott has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Paradise Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Prescott ended up a good deal behind Paradise Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, losing 59-41. Thankfully for Prescott, Fanta Sackor (who put up 27 points and seven steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
