Meanwhile, Ridgeland-Hardeeville came up short against May River on Tuesday and fell 46-38.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kam-ren Wrice, who scored 8 points, and Poncie Capers who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalen Riddle, who scored 6 points.
Battery Creek's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Ridgeland-Hardeeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
