Jace Wunderlich continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central, rushing for 176 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 219 yards and six touchdowns. Wunderlich was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Miles Easley also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.
South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven]'s loss dropped their record down to 7-1. As for Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] will take on Herington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
