Braddock had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Schoolhouse Prep on Thursday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Devin Lopez looked comfortable as he  tossed 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  zero  hits allowed gave  him a new career-low.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Manny Sanchez, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Brayan Martinez, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Braddock was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .652. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Schoolhouse Prep only posted a  batting average of  .062.
Braddock's victory bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Schoolhouse Prep, they now  have a losing record of 7-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Braddock will be taking part in a tournament against George Washington  at 11:00  a.m.  on Monday. As for Schoolhouse Prep, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season  when they go up against Benjamin  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday.
