Newton (Texas) put an additional 14 points on the board on top of its 39-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Whitney (Texas) 74-21.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Calum Foster in the first quarter, the Eagles led 54-7 at the half.
Foster and
Brandon Johnson ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Wildcats. Foster scored two touchdowns on the ground and Johnson added three as well.
