Hunter Boyett and Tobias Moss provided fans with a highlight when they connected against St. Edward's. The longest such play in 3A District 8 this season, the connection resulted in 65 yards.
Westminster Christian added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Pirates, 42-6. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Warriors.
Westminster Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Boyett threw for 240 and 3 touchdowns and Moss had 105 yards receiving. On the ground Jordan Cronkrite contributed 75 yards. Devonaire Clarington helped Westminster Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 70 yards.
Boyett put up the best numbers in passing as Sedrick Irvin's team beat St. Edward's. Boyett's favorite target this week was Moss, who caught 5 passes for 105 yards.
Westminster Christian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Boyett has thrown for 2,461 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Clarington has 40 catches for 779 yards.
Chaminade-Madonna moved up to 305 from 344 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Lions were able to move up by defeating Glades Day 42-7.
