Even though Jasper has not done well against Evansville North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Jasper enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over Evansville North.
Boonville's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-16. As for Jasper, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Boonville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Jasper when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 33-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boonville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
