The Castleford Wolves pushed their score all the way to 57 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Hagerman by a score of 59-57. Castleford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hagerman apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Ky Kendall was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 4 assists for Hagerman. Kendall hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Alex Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Castleford's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Hagerman, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
Castleford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hagerman, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Richfield at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. One thing working in Hagerman's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
