Given Chatham's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Jefferson Township is ranked 28th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Jefferson Township still got an impressive performance from Cassidy Ball, who scored 15 points.
Chatham's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Jefferson Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.
Chatham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson Township, they will head out on the road to take on Ramapo at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson Township is coming into the contest with six straight defeats on the road, meaning Ramapo will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
