After a string of four wins, Minuteman Regional's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 4-1 to the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Minuteman couldn't push the score so high this time.

Minuteman Regional's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Mystic Valley Regional, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minuteman Regional will face off against KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mystic Valley Regional, they will head out to challenge Georgetown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Royals at the right time seeing as the Royals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
