Simpson waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Florien Blackcats by a score of 46-38. The 46-point effort marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Simpson's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Florien, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Simpson will be playing in front of their home fans against Alexandria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florien, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hicks at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
