Meanwhile, Wakefield entered their tilt with Apex on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 58-47 victory over the Cougars. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Cougars are ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Jordan has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Wakefield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Jordan was able to grind out a solid win over Wakefield when the teams last played back in December of 2021, winning 57-47. Will Jordan repeat their success, or does Wakefield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
