Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Dessiona Jackson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
First Baptist Christian's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for St. Martin de Porres, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
First Baptist Christian the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Temple Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for St. Martin de Porres, they will head out on the road to face off against Open Door Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Open Door Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
